☆ usagi's diary entry 1 - text + pictures

Hey everyone! I just thought I'd write this in here since I know some people were wondering about my allies before and all, and.. well, a lot happened lately, so I've got to keep my friends here up to date too, right? You're all super important to me too, after all!

After some fights with monsters, us four sailor soldiers are finally complete! They're all so great! Luna yelled at me and told me to not tell anyone about it, but I know I can trust you guys. Our secret, okay? Hehe!


This is Ami-chan! She goes to the same school as me, but she's on a whole different level, you know! She's the local genius girl and they say she has an IQ of over 300.. which is.. um, a lot, I guess? [ Good job, Usagi. ] She's Sailor Mercury!


And then this here is Rei-chan. She's a beautiful shrine maiden, but honestly, her temper's pretty scary! She seems to have some sort of sixth sense too.. and her power as Sailor Mars is fire! Since she's hot-headed, get it?! Hehehe, I thought that one was so funny!


And then the last one aside from me is Mako-chan! She looks sort of scary, but she's honestly really sweet, sort of like a big sister! And her food is delicious, I'll have to ask her for cake sometime.. oh, and she's really strong, it's like she is tough yet really feminine, it's amazing! She's Sailor Jupiter.

And I know I've already told some people about Tuxedo Mask, but.. when I said I was handsome, just that probably wasn't enough to convince you! Here, I got this out of today's newspaper, there was a picture of him in there! Isn't he completely handsome? He shows up to help me out each time, and.. hehe, I guess you could say I sort of have a crush on him! It's the biggest secret of all though, so don't tell anyone, okay?


So.. with the four of us together, Luna told me I have to be the leader now. Our goal is to find this Silver Crystal that apparently has a lot of power, and we need to protect the Moon Princess once we find her.. it sounds like a pretty heavy duty, huh? And then I'm supposed to be the leader, even though Ami-chan's so smart and Mako-chan's so tough and Rei-chan has a leader's attitude.. compared to that, can a crybaby like me really lead them to do all of that and protect a real princess against the Dark Kingdom and its monsters?

.. Hehe, it sounds a little scary, doesn't it? But I guess all I can do is try my best!

Hey, of course I think that, why wouldn't I in the first place? You seem really cool and fun to talk to- so I guess that's what we do as friends, you know?

[And he'll brightly smile back to her through video, as well- just to match her sparkly eyes.]

Uh-huh, but.. being a normal girl is somethign I can do just fine, I've got it down perfectly! [ Maybe a little too much, Usagi. ] And being friends, I can do that just fine too, but.. being a sailor soldier is a whole different kind of story! Fighting monsters is difficult and scary..!

Ah, right, your whole "Magical Girl" team...I do have to admit, though, what you guys do seems like it would be a hassle- but...sorta fun at the same time.

I do have faith that you can lead this team. You have to have faith in yourself that you can actually pull it off yourself. Because, like I said, you're pretty awesome! And I'll be behind you one hundred percent of the way!

So you'll cheer me on..? E-even if I'm fighting a super duper dangerous monster I could just call you over the community and you'd be like "you can do it, Usagi!".. just like that?!

[ Usagi, that's.. not really possible in the middle of battle.. ]

If it helps you out, then of course I will! Hey, if you ever feel the need to every talk to me about anything, in general, I'll be there to support you, by your side. As friends, I feel as if I should owe you that much.

...plus seeing you in battle would be pretty cool either way. I can point out to you and say "That's my friend, Usagi-san!"

[ .. Yeah, he's right, isn't he? In the end.. friends always support each other. That's just how it works! Just like how she'd help out anyone here no matter what. ]

Don't say that when I fall down though, then everyone will laugh at both you and me! I wouldn't want people to laugh at you, it'd be rude..!!

[Wow way to be a downer about your own skills, Usagi- he just got done saying how awesome you were and how he wanted to support you.]

Hehe, I'd still cheer you on even if you fell on your butt. I wouldn't care if anyone laughed at me- because you're doing something good, after all.

[ IT'S JUST DIFFICULT, OKAY.. She's been complained at for so long and now her allies seem so competent that it's suddenly almost enough to make her feel weird for being one of them.. ]

Well, of course I'm doing something good! I want to try my very best to protect the peace of the Earth..!

[Well maybe she needs to ease up a bit in that case!! ...or, still fret, either one works...]

Hehe, I'm sure you're doing a fine job of that, either way. I think you'll be able to get through a lot of these things just fine!

.. Even with my love for Tuxedo Mask?!

[ I don't think that's what he was specifically referring to, Usagi.. ]

If I can just have that, then I'm sure I'll be fine..!

[...wait, what. He wasn't even...never mind, he's going to roll with it.]

E-Ehe, depends if the guys actually willing to return the feelings. And if he's of the same age as you. And that he's willing to reveal his identity.

Hmm, I guess he's probably older, from the way he looks.. but probably not old enough! And he comes saving me all the time, so he must love me already..! [ She squeals. ]

I bet he's just thinking about how much of a good couple we'd be, just like I am!

[...He's thinking that Usagi must really be trapped in those little dreams she has- more so then any normal girl would.]

Well, if he really did love you like that, wouldn't you think he'd actually have the common courtesy to reveal who he is? So, y'know, you two can date and all.

.. Maybe he's shy? [ LEGIT EXPLANATION. ] I mean, maybe he's afraid that I won't reveal my identity as well! Not like he knows I'm Sailor Moon, after all..

I hope he'll say he loves me soon though.. [ a dreamy sigh. ]

[WHAT KIND OF EXCUSE IS THAT.] Well, how much have you even talked to the guy in the first place? I mean- aside from being handsome...maybe you should reveal it to him and see what happens.

Under the moonlight too- heh, that'll be a surefire way to love.

W.. wait, I can't just tell him like that! Luna will murder me, you know! She'll never stop scratching me, and she'll even scratch up my favourite manga and the rest of my homework for all of eternity..! [ THE HORROR!! ]

She already would get mad over just telling you guys, let alone Tuxedo Mask!

Wow. Sounds like some sort of suckish life you live there if...wait, Luna's the cat, right? [He's tilting his head a bit, trying to remember.] ...Or am I thinking about something else...ah, whatever.

...wait, she didn't find out about you telling us yet?!

Yeah, she's my cat. And she doesn't know I told you all of this.. yet.

[ .. wait, Luna could still find out! Now it hits her, crap! ]

S-Sasayan-kun, please don't tell her about any of this..!

..eh? I'm not going to spill any of this in the first place, what are you worrying about?

I think you should at least have a little more trust in me then that.

[He's clearly joking, although he remembers how Usagi is...]

[ Yeah, Usagi is a little slow so she doesn't catch onto the fact that something might be a joke very easily. Hence why she actually looks a little worried or hurt now.. ]

I-I'm sorry..! I do trust you, I really do! That's why we're friends..!

[...aw man, she really did look hurt. Time to come in for damage control.]

Y-Yeah, I know, I was just kidding with you...listen, Usagi-san, my lips really are sealed on this one, alright?

You're sure..? Because I'm going to cry if you tell anyone at all! Yeah, I'll definitely cry, I'll cry so much that everyone will drown!

[ It's not even that far from the truth, considering it's Usagi. ]

I wouldn't want everyone to drown from your tears...! Even if it'd be a salty death...hehe, nah, you can trust me on this, Usagi-san. As friends...!
